Where can I get a cheap notebook?

Sunday 11 February 2007 @ 1:21 pm

Well if you are in the uk rock on down to my best friend Cheap Notebooks.

You can grab all sorts of bargain notebooks and they have made it pretty easy, by providing the ability to find a notebook by brand.

Only thing is you need to be looking for a cheap notebook in the UK. Other than that you are good to go.

RSS Feed Images, Enclosures, Feed Readers Total Confusion.

Saturday 10 February 2007 @ 8:44 am

Hellooo, (my little rant) this whole area is a confusion right now - there are too many standards.

duh? there are feed publishers and feed readers. Both should be able to display and read.

text
titles
descriptions
channel images
item images (enclosures)
video thumbnails
multiple item images

In ideal world we shouldn’t be reading. Flickr does this, Company xyz does this and Abcsite does this. One standard will be fine.

I am hoping for the day that the standard will be made accessible and universal. But I also hope it will be flexible. For example, it is not always possible for a media publisher to know the exact length of a flash video, so that he can fill out the enclosure tag properly.

Or the exact width of a jpeg image. Anyway feel free to shoot me and correct me where i’m off base. But it seems there are so many people trying to do different things that it’s totally nuts.
