Ever wondered how much a link is worth? You may be selling a link or wanting to buy a link on a page. It’s sometimes a little gray.
Well, fret not because your trusty blogmeister will shortly reveal a little tool to give you a link pricing estimate. Using the following tool a link on my home page is worth $11 month. Wanna buy one? I wonder why I’m giving all these cats free link popularity. Well, I’ll tell you what. If you have a really really cool site, product or service I will give you a link for free for a month, but only if you explain in this post why your site is of value to mankind.
Otherwise, I suppose they are for sale in the side bar - now they are actually site wide there, most of my internal pages are PR3 as well. So at $10 month you have a bargain.
Two conditions - you are polite and I decide if it’s appropriate of not. I don’t recommend drugs, gambling porn just as a guide.
Now back to that tool that you may find useful. And if you don’t find it useful you should at least find it interesting. And if you don’t find it interesting well I wonder if you would move if I prodded you with a sharp stick.
Ok, back to the cool link value tool again http://www.webconfs.com/link-value.php
No Tags We are still within the one year that Microsoft is allowing a free registration of the Express suite, including Visual C# Express and Visual Web Developer Express. These are pretty cool applications
and even though they compete with some of my other business models, I would be remiss if I didn’t at least share them.
For example you may not know but with Microsoft Web Developer Express it is a snap to set up a powerful membership site. I haven’t quite figured out how to do the payments yet, but user authorisation is just drag and drop and wizards. I haven’t even begun to explore it’s full features.
Be warned though, they are massive downloads and make sure you read the documentation before installing. My friends computer crapped itself after installing .NET framework. This may have had nothing to do with it, but the Indian guy in the computer shop put ideas into his head.
Not having read any documentation saying that you should do this and that first, I just installed it on XP professional. Can’t remember reading anything. But this Indian dude was saying that he had to take out the computer battery to fix the problem. Now what the hell is that all about.
If you have a clue please write something intelligent in the comments.
Otherwise share your thoughts on this subject.
.netDamn, this is probably going to hurt my search engine rankings, but who cares right? If you do you may want to list your company in Prestige Dealer Directory. They accept submissions from Prestige Dealerships, Prestige Car Hire and Leasing and many other prestige related categories.
The relevance to my blog is that I own the site. But also that niche directories are the quite good fun to run. You see something happening, plus it helps businesses to promote themselves on the internet.
I think it’s pretty cool. But I would.
