Nopingwait plug-in (wordpress) stops long ping delay when publishing

Don’t know about you but I have a very long ping list and when I post to my blog it takes forever to publish - like 2 minutes. This “just ain’t cool”. Finding this little plug-in was such a relief. This post is the first using this plug-in so I will let you know in the comment how it works. nopingwait.php

[UPDATE]: Dec 31st 2005 - This plugin should not be necessary if you are using Wordpress 2.0
the most recently released stable version of wordpress. The reason being is that Wordpress has made
changes to the core program, meaning posting, even with a large ping list should be instantaneous.
Congrats however to the plugin authors who identified a need in the core release.
